"A Student Life in RP Using Technology"
Throughout the years since probably during the cavemen times, technology has helped human beings greatly in carrying out tasks, discovering science and ways to improve our lifestyles. Technology has almost always made work easier for us.
Today, as a student, technology is important for our education as there are many websites online that we can use for resources and references. Besides education purposes, technology can also provide us with entertainment with applications like iTunes or Windows Media Player. Technology can serve as a platform for communication for socializing purposes as well, with the use of MSN Messenger that is frequently used in school. It can also be used for file sharing which is useful for the learning system in RP where students learn together from one another.
As a student in RP, I feel like this is the future where everyone uses computers. On top of that, the whole school has access to wireless network that allows us to have access to the internet wherever we go around the school campus. Hence, Technology provides convenience to not only us students, but to everyone else.
Everything seems so advanced to me and hardly any paper is being used in class, which seems quite environmentally friendly to me. Only once in a blue moon do we use mahjong papers for class work or presentation. In fact, it seems to me that technology can actually be used to reduce the harm being done to this earth.
I think it’s quite good that we are making use of technology to assist us in our learning. At the same time, we learn something about the technologies that we use. This way, we will be more IT savvy and that will be very helpful to us when we enter the working world in the future. Being IT savvy is very important because almost all jobs require you to use a computer.

"SPORTSWOMAN OF THE YEAR!"
I had to make a speech upon receiving my award... I thanked Royston and our team advisor. After I went backstage, I realized i forgot to thank someone most important to my progress in bowling. I FORGOT TO THANK THE TEAM!!!! I felt so bad.
The team was the one that really encouraged me last year when I was at my lowest point in my game. I know they were very patient with me when I was so pissed off that I kept showing black face throughout training. I was trying to get the feel back in my game, but to no avail, so I always get freakin' frustrated. I know they always granted me a listening ear when I vent out my anger and frustrations, and occasionally take in a few swear words from me. It was really nice of them, and I felt bad that I was treating them like that.
If ya'll are reading this, thank you so much guys! I just hope that our team may remain united just like last year. And those who graduated better visit us!
In my speech, I mentioned that God probably made me small because that's the best way my strength can be seen. People get impressed with me because through me, they realize that size doesn't matter when they see the power of my shots. Now I know how 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 applies in my life. "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
I've been praying last year, when I was at my weakest, that God would work His wonders and let me stand out and win something. But my prayers were not answered. Now I know that my prayers were actually answered. He made me fail so that I can stand out later when I improve. If I hadn't failed, I wouldn't have felt the care and hear encouragements from my teammates. THANK GOD ONCE AGAIN! Amen †
